Location: | Villa Blazenka, as the most residencies in this part of Prague, was founded on the place of the former vineyards which surrounded the capital city. In 1870's, the Kodinsky family, the landowners from East Bohemia, had it built for their son, Alois, who was studying the Law. He started to live in the villa and he was a great benefit for his town region. For the Young-Czech Party of those days, he was the member of the Imperial Parliament and he was also a mayor of Smichov region for twelve long years. He also wrote a few law books and Czech plays for the Theatre of Svanda in the lower part of Smichov. |
